Join Chef Chris Siversen, Executive Chef and Owner of the Maritime Parc Restaurant, Jersey City, (www.maritimeparc.com) and Bloomingdale’s Short Hills (www.bloomingdales.com) for an evening of culinary delight in support of the Lions Eye Bank of New Jersey (www.lionseyebanknj.org) on Thursday, June 20.
Chef Siversen will present a three-course cooking class in Bloomingdale’s culinary center, located within the housewares department on the lower level starting at 6:30 p.m., and will share techniques and recipes for an array of summer dishes followed by a tasting. Guests will receive recipes and a special gift.
The menu will include: Tomato, Watermelon and Goat Mozzarella Panzanella; Sea Scallops, Corn Sauce, Pea Leaves, with Preserved Lemon; and a grand finale of summer desserts — Mini Olive Oil Bundt Cake and Summer Berry Salad.
Chef Siversen has cooked for countless celebrities including Martha Stewart and Steven Spielberg; for the runway shows of Versace, Armani, Chanel, and Marc Jacobs; and for Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, senior and junior.
