For 18 years, the Cherry Tree Cub has been providing a free, quality preschool for homeless and at-risk children in Mercer County. On any given day up to 30 children arrive at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in West Windsor in their bright yellow school bus. They are met with smiles and warm hugs from the professional staff and dedicated volunteers who come each day to read books, play dress-up and serve the children both breakfast and lunch.
