JACKSON — Youth Education in the Arts (YEA!) will bring marching musicians and performers to central New Jersey this summer when it presents “Drum Corps: An American Tradition” on June 28 at Jackson Liberty High School, 125 North Hope Chapel Road, Jackson.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Jackson Liberty High School Marching Band. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature some of the best marching ensembles as they present their field programs under the lights, according to a press release.
Featured in competition will be seven of the top marching music ensembles in the world, including the 10-time world champion Cadets from Allentown, Pa.; Phantom Regiment from Rockford, Ill.; the Bluecoats from Canton, Ohio; the Boston Crusaders from Boston; Jersey Surf from Camden County; and the Raiders from Burlington.
“Drum Corps: An American Tradition” begins at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $18 for value reserved seats to $50 for exclusive VIP seating. A limited number of $15 general admission tickets will be available the day of the event at the gate or in advance from members of the Jackson Liberty High School Marching Band.
Ticket prices will increase $5 at the box office on the day of the show.

YEA! is a not-for-profit organization based in Allentown, Pa., that supports the development of young people through participation in the arts, according to a press release.
Its programs include the 10-time world champion Cadets and Cadets2 Drum Corps, USBands and the Urban Arts Center.
