LAWRENCE: Police blotter

A roundup of police activity.

   Prathiba Lakshman-Swamy, 42, of Robbinsville, was charged with shoplifting clothing worth $81 from Macy’s at 2:26 p.m. June 4.
   Robert Bersani, 53, of Bridgewater, Mass., was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident after his car struck the median at the intersection of Quakerbridge Road and Province Line Road at 7:39 p.m. June 4.
   A 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer sport utility vehicle belonging to a Green Avenue resident was reported stolen from the victim’s driveway between 11 p.m. June 5 and 7:45 a.m. June 6. The thief took the keys to the sport utility vehicle from a second car that was also parked in the driveway. Both vehicles had been left unlocked.
   Anthony Miller, 55, of Trenton, was charged with trespassing at 12:50 p.m. June 6 after he was found on the grounds of the Halo Farms and Trenton Farmers Market properties. He had been issued a persona non grata letter banning him from the properties because of persistent panhandling.
   A Lawrence Township resident reported the theft of her wallet, containing cash and personal papers, from her unlocked car while it was parked at the U.S. Post Office on Brunswick Pike at 1:30 p.m. June 5. She did not realize her wallet had been stolen until she was notified by her bank that her credit cards had been used.
   Aole Wright, 42, of Trenton, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance for allegedly having crack cocaine in his possession at 2:15 a.m. June 10 after he was picked up on a warrant. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of bail.
