Blues-rockers Big City Breakout will debut its new CD, “The Cost of Living,” on Saturday, June 22, at Northside Lounge, 100 Brooks Blvd., Manville.
The band plays live starting at 9:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.
Big City Breakout has been performing in central Jersey since 2009. Members include Mark Willenbrock (bass guitar, vocals), Jason Hallenbake (keyboards, vocals), Steve Pszczola (guitar, vocals), Tony Zinicola (guitar, vocals), Gary Hoffman (drums, vocals) and L.E. McCullough (harmonica, vocals).
The Cost of Living features 10 originals by Mr. Willenbrock that range in style from laid-back blues to hard-charging rock’n roll with the occasional hint of country.
”The CD is available online at cdbaby.com,” said Mr. Willenbrock, “but we know our fans relish the chance to hear the music played live.”
A craft-beer tavern with 15 separate taps and more than 80 bottled microbrews, Northside Lounge was named the region’s Best Beer Bar in the annual BeerNexus Readers Poll.
