   A Matter of Balance, offers practical coping strategies to reduce your risk and fear of falling, with small groups led by trained facilitators who will help you set realistic goals for increasing activity; change your environment to reduce the risk of falls; and learn simple exercises to increase strength and balance. The free program is offered from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community Education and Outreach at the Hamilton Area YMCA, John K. Rafferty Branch, suite 100, conference rooms A and B.    CarFit Check-up Event, is a free program designed for older motorists, and let a CarFit technician help you adjust your ride for a better fit, providing you with greater comfort and better vehicle control.    Safe Sitter, is a two-day class that teaches adolescents, ages 11-13, how to be safe babysitters, providing them with the skills needed to keep the children in their care out of harm’s way while their parents are away, and focusing on safe and nurturing childcare techniques, basic first aid and rescue skills. The program is being offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Education and Outreach at the Hamilton Area YMCA, John K. Rafferty Branch, suite 100, conference rooms A and B. Recurring events
   Summer movie showings, will be featured at the Hamilton Township Public Library throughout the month of July. Showings will take place July 2, 10, 16, 23, 30 and 31 and include “Skyfall”, “Lincoln” and “Les Miserables”. The library is located at 1 Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Way.    Historic John Abbott II House tours, will be offered beginning March 2nd. Tours will be open at the house, located at 2200 Kuser Rd., Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 5:00 p.m. (last tour starts at 4:15 p.m.). Donations are accepted.    Winter Storytime Sessions at the Allentown Library. Stories, songs and fun activities every Thursday at the library located at 16 S. Main St., Allentown. No pre-registration required! Schedule includes: “Good Morning Storytime” from 10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. for ages 3 and under with a parent or caregiver (siblings welcome); “Preschool Storytime” from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3 to 5; and “Family Storytime” from 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. for all ages.    Senior Exercise Classes, sponsored by the Plumsted Senior Outreach Service, at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the lower level of the Plumsted Municipal Building, 121 Evergreen Road.
