   The Florence Preschool is accepting registrations.
   Located at 209 Broad St. in Florence, the school will start classes again in September. The school offers classes for children ages 2-4. Those who would care to visit the facility or have a registration form mailed should call 609-499-3807.
   The Roebling Museum will offer a summer day camp thanks to a grant from the PSE&G Foundation.
   The camp will run Aug. 14-17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Emily Roebling STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Day Cap will explore technology and history on the grounds of the Roebling Museum. The camp is open to middle school students who are interested in learning about the technology behind famous Roebling products like wire rope as well as the engineering knowledge to build a real bridge.
   Parents and guardians are invited to join the last day of camp to see what their children have learned and to try the bridge the students will build on the lawn of the Roebling Museum.
   Vacation Bible School students at the Hedding United Methodist Church will learn about the Old Testament stories of Moses to discover God’s ultimate plan of salvation in Jesus.
   Located at the church at 2289 Old York Road in Hedding, the camp will run from Monday, July 8, to Friday, July 12, at 5:45 to 8:35 p.m. Vacation Bible School is for children ages 4 through those finishing the sixth grade. The cost is $5 per child.

   The Florence Chapter of Deborah will hold a casino bus trip to the Atlantic Club Casino on July 23. The cost is $40 and includes a $30 coin return and $5 food voucher. The bus will leave the library at 9:30 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m.
   Youngsters are invited to “Take the Plunge” at Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, 940 Jacksonville-Mt. Holly Road, Jacksonville, Springfield Township, during Vacation Bible School. There will be music, games, arts and crafts and storytelling among other activities.
   The school will be held June 23-27. Classes are 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Arrive 15 minutes early to register the first night.

   The Roebling Museum will honor the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg with a Civil War living history weekend June 22-23.
   The event is both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine. The grounds are free, and museum admission is discounted at $5 for adults, seniors and children over 6.
   Families are encouraged to picnic on the grounds and play croquet. A complete event schedule will be available to visitors.
   The museum is at 100 Second Ave. in Roebling. Parking is available at the back of the museum off Hornberger Avenue at the Light Rail Station.

   Some of the ladies of the Willitts-Tonne-Hogan American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 are crocheting scarves for the 91 veterans at Veterans Haven, located on the grounds of Anchora State Hospital, and are making bibs for the residents of the Clare Estates Nursing Home.
