LAWRENCE: Police blotter

   A 24-year-old Skillman woman reported the theft of her designer handbag, valued at $140, from Lord & Taylor at 4:02 p.m. June 11. The victim told police she had left her purse on a chair at the make-up counter while she was using her cell phone and when she returned, the handbag was gone.
   A 64-year-old Princeton resident reported the theft of $700 from her wallet, which she had placed in the child seat portion of a shopping cart while she was shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond at 6:04 p.m. June 11. She told police she left the store, went to another store to shop and then realized she had left her purse at Bed Bath and Beyond. The wallet had been turned in to Bed Bath and Beyond, but the money was gone.
   Carls Germain, 25, and Juniordi Cadet, 27, both of Roselle, were charged with burglary at 9:24 p.m. June 11 after they were observed in the service corridor, which is not open to the public, at the Quaker Bridge Mall. Both men had latex gloves in their possession, but Mr. Germain was also charged with possession of burglar tools because he also had a hammer, a screwdriver and a black mask in his possession.
   Mr. Germain was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $16,000 bail with a 10-percent option for outstanding warrants, and Mr. Cadet was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $15,000 bail with a 10-percent option for outstanding warrants.
   A 52-year-old Lawrence resident told police someone stole his GPS unit, which he had left under the seat in his car, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. June 11 after he dropped it off for service at the Lawrenceville Ford dealership on Brunswick Pike. The GPS unit was valued at $160.
   A cell phone belonging to a 27-year-old Hamilton woman was reported stolen after she left it in the women’s bathroom at the Fortis Institute on Brunswick Pike between 11 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. June 12. It was valued at $120.
   Tyasia Hayden, 20, and Natqwan Cameron, 34, both of Trenton, were charged with receiving stolen property after they were stopped in Lot A at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 2:32 p.m. June 12. They had an assortment of clothing worth $150 in their possession that belonged to the Aeropostale and Justice stores. They were taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on outstanding warrants.
   Two Trenton juveniles, ages 16 and 17, were charged with receiving stolen property after they were stopped in the area of the bus stop at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 2:57 p.m. June 13. They had an assortment of clothing belonging to the H&M store in their possession, valued at a combined $1,345.95.
   A pair of Trenton juveniles, ages 14 and 17, were charged with shoplifting clothing valued at a combined $749.85 from the H&M store at 5:57 p.m. June 13. They were stopped at the bus stop outside the Quaker Bridge Mall. They were released to their parents’ custody.
   A 30-year-old Trenton woman reported the theft of her purse and its contents, valued at $200, from the trunk of her car while it was parked in Lot B at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 5:45 p.m. and 9:16 p.m. June 13. The victim told police she thought the car was locked. The trunk can be opened from inside the car.
   Two Trenton juveniles, ages 12 and 13, were charged with shoplifting clothing worth a combined $120 from Macy’s at 2 p.m. June 15. They were released to their parents’ custody.
   Eddie Rolle, 43, of Trenton, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance at 11:01 p.m. June 15 at the Sleep-E-Hollow Motel on Brunswick Pike after police officers observed him acting in a suspicious manner. He had crack cocaine packaged for sale.
   John Apai, 27, of Lawrence, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and littering at 12:26 a.m. June 18 after he was observed walking in the area of Princeton Avenue and Spruce Street. The officers saw him drop a cigarette pack, which was found to have a crack cocaine pipe in it.
