PRINCETON —The Princeton Battlefield Society lost in court Friday an attempt to stop the Institute for Advanced Study from building faculty housing on part of the Revolutionary War battlefield.
Judge Mary Jacobson delivered her decision today in a case in which the society sued to overturn the Princeton Planning Board’s approval of the project in 2012.
“We’re very pleased,” said Karen L. Cayci, the attorney who represented the Planning Board.
Kip Cherry, vice president of the society, said she was disappointed in the ruling.
”We are prepared to appeal,” she said.
