CMA’s Marketing Leaders Take the Reins at NJBIA Social Media Seminar
Princeton Junction, NJ – June 27, 2013 – Creative Marketing Alliance (CMA), a full-service marketing firm based in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, took the driver’s seat at the New Jersey Business Industry Association’s (NJBIA) Social Media Seminar on June 26 at the Sheraton in Eatontown, New Jersey, with its Director of Marketing Services, Erin Klebaur serving as the Master of Ceremonies and Public Relations Manager, Kaitlin Friedmann, presenting expert tips on the topic of “Social Media and the News.”
Titled “Using Social Media to Grow Your Business,” the seminar provided approximately 90 business professionals with valuable information on the ways to integrate social media into their marketing strategy for networking, business exposure, lead development and to drive potential customers and clients to their website for increased exposure. The latest information on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogging were discussed by NJBIA’s panel of experts, including CMA’s Public Relations Manager, Kaitlin Friedmann.
Responsible for the overall management of the public relations department, including media strategy and communications, Kaitlin has a diverse background in strategic planning, direct media outreach and event management. Presenting on the topic of “Social Media and the News,” Kaitlin covered three major themes on the importance of news and current events in a successful social media campaign including: content strategy, timing and news-jacking. Also, showcasing real-life best practices, Kaitlin referenced CMA’s social media efforts surrounding the NJBIA seminar, including an on-site videographer to capture footage of the event for YouTube, as well as social media promotions leading up to and during the seminar. Kaitlin also called on her previous experiences and demonstrated her public relations prowess to address a diverse range of questions.
