Lots going on!
The Solutions Table at the Pennington Farmers Market will collect and recycle real-cork corks, No. 5 plastics, and old CDs on June 30, the last Saturday of the month.
In addition, after a slow spring, gardens are bursting with fruit and vegetables. Pennington’s Chickadee Creek Farm adds new produce every week and Treelicious Orchards will make its 2013 market debut with baked goods and fresh fruit.
Beechtree Farm sells grass-fed lamb and beef,
Herb’n’Zest keeps it savory, while Nicky Z serves up all-beef hot dogs and coffee.
Judith’s Dessert Boutique carries homemade desserts.
Hopewell Valley Vineyards provides wine tasting and Woods Edge Farm returns with alpaca wool and clothing.
Mountainview, longtime purveyors of down-home blues and bluegrass, will offer its first market performance of the year.
The market takes place every Saturday through October from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in front of Rosedale Mills, a mile north of Pennington, on Route 31 at Titus Mill Road.
