Geaduates got awards June 20
The following awards were presented at graduation exercises at South Hunterdon Regional High School on the evening of June 20:
— Robert Albanir — President’s Educational Excellence Award; National Football Scholar Athlete Award, $1,000. He will attend Virginia Tech where he has received a scholarship in the amount of $24,000.
—. Kyle Bogdan — President’s Academic Achievement Award; Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater Award; $450 – Kate D. Stout Scholarship; $500 – South Hunterdon PTSO Scholarship; $1,000 – Kalmia Scholarship. She will attend Montclair State University where she has been accepted into the honors program.
— Paul Cally — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater Award;$54,000 Rowan Scholars Program Scholarship. He will attend Rowan University.
— Kyle Campbell — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $100 – Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad Auxiliary Citizenship Award; $500 – Former New Jersey State Troopers Association Scholarship; $16,000 – University of Delaware Scholarship. He will attend the University of Delaware.
— Emma Carpenter — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar; George Washington University Engineering Medal; Louis Armstrong Jazz Award; Skyland Conference Scholar Athlete; WPVI-TV “Best of the Class” Award; $50 – South Hunterdon World Language Award for French. She will attend Cornell University in the fall where she has received a Navy ROTC scholarship in the amount of $180,000.
— Heidi Culbertson — $500 – Kalmia Scholarship; $1,000 – Sons of the American Legion, Lambertville; $1,000 – Jennie M. Haver Scholarship. She will attend Kean University.
— Sean Dale — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Fred Waring Director’s Award for Chorus; John Phillip Souza Award; Outstanding Chorister Award; Outstanding Vocal Soloist Award; National School Choral Award; $1,000 – Subaru of American Foundation Scholarship; Trustee Scholarship in the amount of $80,000. He will attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
— Adeline Donnelly — President’s Educational Excellence Award; $2,500 – Shad Festival Scholarship. She will attend Sarah Lawrence College where she has received a scholarship in the amount of $80,000.
—Andrew Donohue — President’s Academic Achievement Award. He will travel to California after graduation.
— Michael Failla — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $1,000 – Kyle P. Donnelly Scholarship; $3,000 – Sir Knight Richard Fleming Sr., Memorial Scholarship. He will attend Seton Hall University where he has received a $36,000 University Scholarship.
— William Patrick Ferry — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $500 – Lambertville Station Hospitality Scholarship; $5,000 – Walker Scholarship; $16,000 – Scholars Residency Scholarship. He will attend Florida Southern College.
— Robert Foder — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $500 – Weber Family Scholarship. He will attend Raritan Valley Community College.
—Alexander Frazee — $100 – Dennis Beaver Memorial Award. He will attend Raritan Valley Community College.
— Mikayla Fulper — President’s Educational Excellence Award; $1,000 – New Jersey Building & Grounds Association, Hunterdon/Warren Chapter Scholarship. She will attend Penn State University.
—Eric Gillette — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $200 Lewis Fishery Foundation Scholarship; $40,000 Academic Scholarship. He will attend McMurry University where he has been accepted into the honors program.
— Elyse Hartpence — $200 South County Nurses Scholarship; $640.82, Almira, Helen and Ruth Holcombe Scholarship. She will attend Raritan Valley Community College.
— Julianna Hoff — President’s Educational Excellence Award; William Colantano CPA Award; $100 – Delta Kappa Gamma Award; $500 – Gwen Corboy Memorial Scholarship; $500 – West Amwell PTO Merit Scholarship; $2,000 – Lambertville New Hope Rotary Club Scholarship; $3,500 – Lambertville Chamber of Commerce Shad Festival Scholarship; $8,000 – Boston University Performance Award. She will attend Boston University where she has received an additional award in the amount $31,000
— Grantham Jensen — President’s Academic Achievement Award. He will attend Raritan Valley Community College.
— Holly Kapsimalis — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $1,000 – Salisbury University Grant. She will attend Salisbury University.
— Roxanne Kreider — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Hunterdon/Warren Scholar Athlete; $300 – Christopher J. Cadwallader Memorial Scholarship; $1,000 – The Kiwanis Club of Lambertville Foundation Scholarship. She will attend Raritan Valley Community College. As part of the NJ STARS Program, Roxanne will receive full tuition.
— Hannah Marty— President’s Academic Achievement Award. She will attend Bucks County Community College.
—Zachary Mastrich — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar; Honorable Mention Candidate for the Discus Scholarship Awards. He will attend the College of Wooster, where he has received a Dean’s Scholarship in the amount of $80,000.
— Lydia McDaniel — $1,250 Monarch Grant;$9,250 Christi Regis Scholarship. She will attend King’s College.
— Hana Mershon — President’s Educational Excellence Award; $500 Winter Festival Scholarship; $500 South Hunterdon PTSO Scholarship; $1,000 – Greta Schmidt Art Scholarship; $1,000 Kalmia Scholarship. She will attend Montclair State University.
— Jacob Phillips — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Edward J. Bloodstain Distinguished Scholar; Skyline Conference Scholar Athlete; NJSIAA Scholar/Athlete; South Hunterdon Crystal Eagle Award; $150 – Lambertville West Amwell Youth Baseball Award; $500 – South Hunterdon Regional Education Association Scholarship; $500 – Samuel E. Jefferis Scholarship; $60,000 – Benjamin Rush Scholarship. He will attend Dickinson College where he has received an additional award of $110,560.

— Julianne Riggs — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar; $50 – South Hunterdon World Language Award – Spanish; $500 – South Hunterdon Regional Education Association Scholarship; $500 – Cohen and Feeley Best of the Best Award; $500 – Emily Marshall Writing Scholarship; $1,000 – Emily Marshall Most Valuable Female Athlete Award; $1,000 – Lambertville Kalmia Club Scholarship; $1,000 – The Kiwanis Club of Lambertville Foundation Scholarship. She will attend Wesleyan University.
—Lloyd Seiter — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $500 – Alpha Tau/Theta Chip Scholarship; $1,000 – Green and White Scholarship; $2,000 – Gateway Scholarship Award; $8,964 – Ohio Next Generation Award. He will attend Ohio University.
— Jason Shurts — President’s Academic Achievement Award; University of Alabama Deans Engineering Award of Excellence; $200 – Almira Holcombe Scholarship; $1,000 – Sons of the American Legion, Lambertville; $5,000 – Negron-Carroll Scholarship. He will attend Virginia Tech .
— Dain Silvestri — President’s Academic Achievement Award. She will attend East Carolina University where she has received a $24,000 award.
— Alexander Singleton — President’s Educational Excellence Award. He will attend Princeton University where he has received the William H. Cane Scholarship in the amount of $227,000.
— Kyle Tillett — President’s Academic Achievement Award; $500 – South Hunterdon PTSO Eagle Spirit Scholarship. He will attend Raritan Valley Community College.
— Austin Van Treuren — President’s Educational Excellence Award; Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar; Hunterdon/Warren Scholar Athlete Award. He will attend the University of Delaware where he has received an award of $18,000.
— Daniel Voorhees — President’s Academic Achievement Award. He will attend William Patterson University.
— Erika Waslin — President’s Academic Achievement Award. She will attend University of Delaware where she has received scholarship and awards in the amount of $18,800.
— Jonathan Wendeborn — President’s Educational Excellence Award; $1,000 – New Jersey Building & Grounds Association/Hunterdon/Warren Chapter Scholarship; $1,000 Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer Association. He will attend Washington College, where he has received grants and scholarships in the amount of $120,800.
— Rebecca Williamson — $200 South County Nurses Scholarship. She will attend Raritan Valley Community College.
— Shelby Wilson — $1,000 Alumni Scholarship; $7,000 – Academic Achievement Scholarship; She will attend Fairleigh Dickinson University where she has received a Dean’s Scholarship in the amount of $12,000.
