Mystical Drumz, is a hands on drumming session offered to children who want to get creative and build their own rhythm band. The workshop, scheduled for 4 p.m., is designed for children ages 7-12. Space is limited so participants are encouraged to reserve a spot.
Later that evening at 7 p.m. Mystical Drums will present an interactive show including amazing instruments and rhythms from various cultures.
Free tickets for both events are available, beginning July 1, in the Betty Brand Children’s Room. The events are sponsored by the Friends of the Hamilton Township Library. Summer movie showings, will be featured at the Hamilton Township Public Library throughout the month of July. Historic John Abbott II House tours, will be offered beginning March 2nd. Tours will be open at the house, located at 2200 Kuser Rd., Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 5:00 p.m. (last tour starts at 4:15 p.m.). Donations are accepted. Winter Storytime Sessions at the Allentown Library. Stories, songs and fun activities every Thursday at the library located at 16 S. Main St., Allentown. No pre-registration required! Schedule includes: “Good Morning Storytime” from 10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. for ages 3 and under with a parent or caregiver (siblings welcome); “Preschool Storytime” from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3 to 5; and “Family Storytime” from 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. for all ages.
