Trenton, NJ—The Trenton Half Marathon & 10K is proud to announce its partnership with Thomas Edison State College, one of the first schools in the country designed exclusively for adults.  Thomas Edison State College has come on board to support the 2013 event as the official volunteer sponsor.
For the Trenton Half, the location of Thomas Edison State College creates a natural partnership for the event.  The college is situated along the course route, creating an excellent opportunity for the Trenton Half Marathon to work alongside a great institution with ties to the city of Trenton.  The Trenton Half is excited to have Thomas Edison State College as a part of this growing event.
The Trenton Half Marathon, 10K & Kids Run will take place on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 and anticipates over 4,000 participants.  For an event of this magnitude, over 700 volunteers are needed.  Thomas Edison State College plans to provide both a team of volunteers to support the event and a race team to participate in the event.  The college also plans to exhibit at the event’s Health & Wellness Expo, providing information about its programs to the general public
By working with Thomas Edison State College, the Trenton Half hopes to help develop programs that will benefit the college and its students, as well as programs that will benefit area athletes and supporters of this event.
