Mr. Maybaum, 71, of Little Silver, died June 27, 2013, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Plainfield and raised in Deal. He was the proprietor of Max’s Famous Hot Dogs in Long Branch for the past 33 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Madeline Levy Maybaum; his mother-in-law, Celia “Mrs. Max” Maybaum, of Deal; two daughters, Michele Maybaum- Harris and her husband, Ivan Harris, of Middletown, and Jennifer Maybaum and her husband, Jacob Moschberger, of Tinton Falls; a brother-in-law, Owen Levy and his wife, Elaine, of East Brunswick; two cousins, Richard Maybaum and his wife, Kathy, of Verona, and Judy Kirk, of Minneapolis, Minn. Chapel services were held at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean, followed by interment at Monmouth Fields, West Long Branch.
