Dancers will hold fundraising events on July
23 and Aug. 20 at the Cabin restaurant, 984
Route 33 east, Howell. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the dancers’ efforts to get
to Walt Disney World to perform in the Magic
Kingdom parade. The server must be informed when a patron is there to support the
event.
• Chemical Magic for Teens will be offered at 6 p.m. July 11 at Monmouth County
Library Headquarters, Manalapan. Teens entering the sixth grade and up can learn chemistry and science concepts in a fun and
hands-on atmospheres. Projects include making Flubber, Silly Putty, bounce balls and

The fifth annual golf outing in memory
of Anthony Lombardi will be held Sept. 9 at
Knob Hill, Manalapan. Through the years,
Lombardi served the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad as a volunteer and as
president. Lombardi’s passing on Sept. 11,
2008, inspired his nephew, Michael Fioto, to
start a golf outing in his memory. To date,
$13,000 has been donated to the first aid
squad in Anthony’s memory. All are welcome

Center is holding free glucose and blood pressure screenings for individuals 18 years of
age or older 4-6 p.m. July 11 at the Star and

A car wash benefit sponsored by the youth ministry of the Monmouth Worship Center will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13 at 37 Vanderburg Road, Marlboro. The CentraState Medical Center Auxiliary will host a trip to Resorts Hotel- Casino in Atlantic City on Aug. 2. The cost of $28 includes $25 back in coin slots.
