Central Jersey Chapter of National Association of Health Underwriters Receives Pacesetter Award

PRINCETON – July 15, 2013 — The Central Jersey chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (CJAHU) has won the Pacesetter Award at the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) 82nd-annual conference in Las Vegas, NV. 
The chapter serves Middlesex, Mercer and Somerset counties.
The criteria for receiving the Pacesetter Award includes attendance at national and regional meetings, chapter management, hosting local meetings and events, communications, membership activities and growth, public service projects, media relations efforts, and continuing education.
“The leadership of NAHU members has a far-reaching impact on providing for the healthcare needs of individuals, families and business in their communities. We are grateful for CJAHU’s hard work and recognize them with this well-deserved award,” said NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein.
“CJAHU exemplifies the dedication to providing the best opportunities for our members,” added John Nalepka, CHAHU president. “This year, our chapter organized fundraisers for the Hurricane Sandy “Restore the Shore” campaign and Ronald McDonald House, as part of our communications efforts. We also hosted 10 meetings to further our members’ educational efforts. These projects and many others have set a standard of excellence in the health insurance industry that we are proud to represent.
