The Goddard School, 1480 Englishtown Road, Old Bridge, a preschool for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, will celebrate its 10th birthday by hosting a birthday gala 4-8 p.m. July 19. The rain date is July 26.

Currently enrolled families and formerly enrolled families are invited to attend. The event will feature refreshments and activities including rides, a dance party and face painting for children of all ages.

CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, has been recognized as one of the nation’s “Most Wired” health care organizations for the fourth year in a row in an annual survey conducted by Hospitals & Health Networks, the journal of the American Hospital Association.

CentraState is among the top 5 percent of health care organizations in the country to be named “Most Wired.” The designation recognizes health care organizations that have successfully adopted information technology (IT) in four critical areas: infrastructure, business and administrative management, clinical quality and safety, and care continuum.

CentraState has invested nearly $20 million in health IT over the past 13 years as part of its ongoing commitment to enhance patient safety and create more efficient care processes, according to a press release.

The Most Wired Survey and Benchmarking Study is a joint project of the American Hospital Association, Hospital and Health Networks, McKesson Corporation and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.

The following students were local winners in the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program: Isabella Galvanek, 9, of Freehold; Jayne McDevitt, 12, of Howell; Daniela Olt, 10, of Colts Neck; and Amara Riccio, 17, Howell.

Every year, Kohl’s recognizes young volunteers across the country for their contributions to their communities. Store winners are awarded a Kohl’s gift card, and regional winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship for higher education. National winners will receive $10,000 in scholarships, and Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization of the student’s choice.

A Personal Touch Event Planning will host a July 24 job fair themed “Let’s Get America Back to Work.” The employment event will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel, 50 Gibson Place, Freehold Township.
