PLAINSBORO: Kids turn it up this summer

Annual camp registration opens

PLAINSBORO —Imagine over 500 children singing at the top of their lungs and dancing along to music with lights flashing and laughter erupting from every corner of the room.
Each year the Princeton Alliance Church (PAC) offers kids in Plainsboro and surrounding communities a fun and energetic day camp experience.
This free weeklong camp for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade will be held July 29 through Aug. 2, from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Under the theme “Turn It Up,” this year’s 28th annual camp helps kids learn how to turn up the power of God’s story in their own lives. When kids walk through the doors of PAC, over 200 screened volunteers are ready to greet and guide campers through a day that combines biblical teaching with interactive activities.
Through daily bible lessons, music time, recreation, snack time and a larger group experience with live music and onstage performances, kids are invited to engage in an exciting adventure with friends and God.
Always innovating and looking for fresh approaches to engage the kids, this year a small group experience has been added to make Bible time more focused and personal.
”It’s exciting to share God’s big story with the kids and help them understand the power of it,” said Children’s Ministries Pastor Shaun Sass.
The camp curriculum and content are linked to the church’s focus on reading through the Bible this year. The smiles on the faces of the kids show just how much they enjoy this unique camp experience where the love of God is present, and they are encouraged to learn and grow.
Camp registration is free. To register your child, visit princetonalliance.org/camp.
