Hightstown 
    Police arrested Delfino Vasquez-Perez, 35, of Kellington Drive in East Windsor, on July 10 at 11:15 p.m. and charged him with impersonating a public official.
    Officers were dispatched to Tavern on the Lake, 101 Main St., for a report of an individual purporting to be a police officer and displaying a police badge. An investigation revealed that the subject was not a police officer and he was taken into custody.
    Bail was set at $3,500 and Mr. Vasquez-Perez was transported to Mercer County Adult Correction Center in default of bail.
    Police arrested Tykeem Chavies, 24, of Willingboro; Sabrina Stewart, 25, of Trenton; and Dasia Powell, 19, of Fryer Court in Hightstown, and charged them with defiant trespassing at approximately 9:30 p.m. July 14. Mr. Chavies and Ms. Stewart were also charged with contempt of court. Ms. Powell was also charged with providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
    Police responded to the Wychoff Mills Clubhouse for a report of trespassing and swimming in the pool. The subjects were found in the pool.
    Mr. Chavies had a warrant issued by Edgewater Park Municipal Court in the amount of $874 and Ms. Stewart had a warrant in the amount of $1,500 issued by Trenton Municipal Court.
    All three subjects were taken into custody and were later released with pending court action.
    Police arrested Jose Bererro, 26, of Mercer Street in Hightstown, at approximately 10:30 a.m. July 17 on Rogers Avenue and charged him with contempt of court, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    A suspicious person investigation resulted in the arrest after a credential check revealed an active warrant issued by New Brunswick Municipal Court in the amount of $750.
    Mr. Bererro was also found to possess a small baggie with suspected marijuana. Mr. Bererro was taken into custody and was later released with pending court action.
    Police are investigating a theft from a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Maxwell Avenue between July 2 at 5:30 p.m. and July 3 at 4:20 a.m.
    Police said the vehicle was mistakenly unlocked at the time of the incident and an Ipod Touch, cellular phone, several credit cards and $75 in cash were taken.

    Police arrested Thomas Hoeffler Jr., 33, of Hickory Corner Road in East Windsor, at 10:08 p.m. July 6 on Mercer Street.
    Police charged him with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and being an unlicensed driver after a random license plate check. Mr. Hoeffler Jr. was later released with pending court action.
    Police arrested Matthew Nieliwocki, 24, of Cranbury, at 1:12 a.m. July 7 on Fryer Court.
    Police charged him with drunken driving, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving and improper parking after he attempted to move his vehicle from an illegal parking space.
    Mr. Nieliwocki was later released to a friend with pending court action.
    Police arrested Joshua Dunn, 23, of Philadelphia, Pa., at 8:48 p.m. July 7 on Franklin Street.
    Police charged him with speeding, providing false information to a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated.
    Police also arrested the passenger, Maritzel Gaton, 23, of Bronx, N.Y., and charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court.
    Police stopped Mr. Dunn for traveling 41 mph in a 25 mph speed zone. Police said he provided the officer with a false name and date of birth resulting in his arrest and the finding of marijuana.
    Police said Ms. Gaton was found in possession of a pipe with marijuana residue and had a warrant issued by Camden City Court for $89.
    Ms. Gaton was later released with pending court action and Mr. Dunn was committed to the Mercer County Adult Correction Center in default of bail set at $3,500.
    Police are investigating a theft that took place on the 100 block of Outcalt Street between midnight and 4 a.m. July 8.
    Police said a taxi light was stolen from the roof of a vehicle. The value of the sign was estimated at $200.

    Police responded to the report of a car burglary at 2:45 a.m. July 9 on Hagemount Avenue.
    Police said the victim awoke to find an unknown subject rummaging through the vehicle. The subject fled on foot prior to police arrival. Police checked the area but did not locate the subject.
    The victim reported that $15 was taken from the vehicle.

    Police arrested Natasha Clewes-Garner, 23, of Plainsboro, at 6:13 p.m. on July 9 and charged her with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and speeding.
    Police stopped her for traveling 37 mph in a 25 mph speed zone and detected a strong odor of marijuana in her vehicle. Police seized five glassine packets of heroin.
    Ms. Clewes-Garner was taken into custody and later released with pending court action.
    East Windsor
    Police investigated the theft of a bicycle from Brookwood Gardens between p.m. July 9 and 8 a.m. July 10.
    Police said the Trek 8500 bicycle has an estimated value of $850 and was left unattended on a porch.
    Police responded to Walmart at 9:30 p.m. July 10 after seven prepaid cellular telephones with a value of $1,859 were stolen.
    Police arrested Jeffery P. Lawton, 28, of Browns Mills, and charged him with shoplifting.
    He was later released pending court action.
    Police arrested Thomas O. Hager, 24, of Probasco Road in East Windsor, and charged him with drunken driving, reckless driving, careless driving, driving with an obstructed view and failure to notify the Motor Vehicle Commission of change of address at 11:17 p.m. July 12.
    Police responded to the Route 33 ramp to Route 133 west on a report of a one-vehicle accident and located a red Nissan driven by Mr. Hager. Police said Mr. Hager was not injured but had the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath along with bloodshot and watery eyes.
    Mr. Hager was later released pending court action.
    Police arrested David Hyde, 54, of Sea Girt, and charged him with drunken driving, refusal to submit to breath test, failure to maintain a lane, driving an uninsured vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt on Dutch Neck Road at 12:23 a.m. July 13.
    Police observed a black Volkswagen fail to maintain its lane and then stop in the entrance to Royal Plaza.
    Police said an investigation revealed the driver had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath along with blood shot and watery eyes.
    Mr. Hyde was later released pending court action.
    Police responded to a report of criminal mischief on Twin Rivers Drive north between 1 and 10 a.m. July 13.
    The victim reported that an unknown person slashed his tires.
    Police observed both passenger side tires had a one- inch cut in their sidewalls.
    The victim estimated the cost to repair the damage to be approximately $360.
    There is no suspect at this time.
    Police responded to the report of a purse theft at TJ Maxx at 7:20 p.m. July 13.
    The victim reported that while shopping at TJ Maxx her Coach purse was stolen. The purse contained $100 and the victim’s passport.
    The victim momentarily left the purse unattended.
    Police arrested Latifah I. Lee, 23, of Trenton, and charged her with drunken driving, failure to maintain a lane, improper turn, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle, unlicensed driver, driving with an obstructed view, failure to wear a seatbelt, careless driving and reckless driving on Route 130 at 2:41 p.m. July 14.
   ýPage=005 Column=006 OK,0000.00þ Police observed a maroon Chrysler make an illegal turn from Route 130 north to Route 130 south near the American Legion.
    After stopping the vehicle, the officer smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath.
    Ms. Lee was later released pending court action.
    Police are investigating the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle in Orchard Apartments between 11 a.m. July 13 and 1 p.m. July 14.
    The wallet contained credit cards and $100 cash.
    There are no suspects at this time.
