Mr. Bryson, 82, of Hazlet, died June 30, 2013, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born Jan. 4, 1931, in Everett, Mass., where he was raised. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He was predeceased by 16 brothers and sisters; and a son-in-law, Jose Lopes. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Logan) Bryson; three sons, Richard T. Bryson and his wife, Joan, of Elberon, Kenneth Bryson and his wife, Mary, of Belford, and William L. Ahlfeld and his wife, Jennifer, of Wall; six daughters, Lynda Arasin and her husband, Martin, of Sea Bright, Dawn Lopes, of Wallingford, Conn., Suzanne Lampe and her husband, Jeffrey, of Middletown, Bonnie Carmichael and her husband, Reginald, of Gainesville, Fla., Marianne A. Bennett and her husband, Daryl, of Hazlet, and Elizabeth A. Ahlfeld, of Hazlet; a sister, Kay Mazzochia, of Andover, Mass.; 16 grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach.
