No one was struck by gunfire, police said
South Brunswick police are investigating a shooting that took place at the Brookside Mobile Home Park on Friday night.
At 10:50 p.m., police received several 911 calls reporting the shooting.
Two suspects fired several shots into a residence in the mobile home park, which is located on Route 1 at Blackhorse Lane, police said.
None of the occupants of the residence were struck by the gunfire, police said.
After the suspects fired into the residence, they ran to Blackhorse Lane and got into a waiting vehicle, police said.
The two suspects are described as follows:
One is described as a black male, 18 to 19 years old, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, with a stocky build and crewcut hairstyle. He was wearing a white tank top, blue basketball shorts and white-and-blue Nike sneakers.
The second suspect is a black male, 18 to 19 years old, 5-feet 11-inches tall with a thin build and crewcut hairstyle. He was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and jeans.
The suspects fled in a metallic blue four-door Honda Accord, possibly a 2006, police said.
Chief Raymond Hayducka said, “This was not a random crime. Detectives are following several leads. I ask anyone with information on the case to contact our department.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Jim Ryan or Detective Roger Tuohy at 732-329-4646.
