Area students graduate from Rider

LAWRENCEVILLE — Rider University recently held its 148th commencement.
   Several local recipients were among graduates, including Ashley Darragh, of Hamilton Square, who earned a bachelor of science in business administration in entrepreneurial studies.Robbinsville residents Steven Michal, Michelle McBride, Brian O’Donnell and Camille Seefelt graduated with bachelor’s degrees in business administration in finance, sociology, English and theater, respectively.
   Also among the undergraduates was Lucia Laytos, of New Egypt, who received a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration in management and leadership.
   Jenna Reading, of Allentown, received a master of arts degree in reading.
   Linda Schuster, of Roosevelt, and Lindsay Rajeski of New Egypt, were awarded master’s degrees in special education and accounting, respectively.
   Jessica Friedberg, who just finished her first year at Colgate University, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.
   To be eligible, a student must achieve higher than a 3.30 average while enrolled in at least four courses.
