Annual reunion worship service will be held at the historic Yellow Meeting House at 11 a.m. The Friends of the Old Yellow Meeting House and The Upper Freehold Baptist Church invite everyone to join them for their 98th annual service to be preceded by a continental breakfast at 10 a.m.
The circa 1737 Meeting House is considered the oldest Baptist church in the New Jersey and the oldest house of worship in Monmouth County.
Located at 70 Yellow Meeting House Road in Upper Freehold Township, the church and cemetery are approximately 2.5 miles east of Imlaystown and accessed by I-195 at Exit 11 and Route 526. For more information, visit OYMH.org.
Panhandle Democrats picnic will be held at Laurita Winery, 85 Archertown Road, New Egypt, from 2 to 6 p.m.
It is the second annual picnic of Democrats from the Monmouth County “Panhandle” (Allentown, Millstone, Roosevelt and Upper Freehold). A rain date has been set for the following Sunday, Aug. 4.
The picnic will feature food catered by Branches, live music, guest speakers, wagon rides through the vineyard, a meet-and-greet with candidates, a silent auction and door prizes.

Pottery spiced up featuring Enjoy, Explore India will allow participants at the Robbinsville Branch of the Mercer County Library to decorate pots while learning about traditional Indian spices used in cooking.
Seeds of the plants will be provided to be grown at home.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and is designed for children ages 8 and up.

Winter storytime sessions at the Allentown Library. Stories, songs and fun activities every Thursday at the library at 16 S. Main St., Allentown. No registration required.
Schedule includes “Good Morning Storytime” from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. for ages 3 and under with a parent or caregiver (siblings welcome); “Preschool Storytime” from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3 to 5; and “Family Storytime” from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m. for all ages.
