East Windsor
Police are investigating the theft of a 1985 Honda from Twin Rivers Mall between 7 a.m. July 16 and midnight on June 17.
The vehicle was recovered on July 18 in Trenton and returned to the owner.
Police reported damage to a 2001 Nissan parked at Windsor Regency between 4 p.m. on July 19 and 5 p.m. on July 20.
The vehicle was scratched with a sharp object on the driver and passenger side doors. The damage was estimated at $800.
An employee reported the theft of a leaf blower worth $500 from a trailer parked at Windsor Regency between July 8 and July 22.
A Wyndmoor Drive resident reported nine personal checks stolen from her home between 9 a.m. on July 13 and 11 p.m. July 18.
Police said one of the checks had been forged and cashed at a local bank for $500. There was also an electronic transfer for $900.
The incident is under investigation.
Hightstown
Police responded to a burglary that occurred in the Westerlea Arms Apartment Complex between 2:30 and 4 p.m. on July 18.
The victim reported forced entry into the apartment and the theft of four gold chains with a total value of $2,400.

Police arrested James Yuhasz, 48, of Cream Ridge, at 1:58 a.m. July 20 on S. Main Street and charged him with drunken driving, drunken driving in a school zone, refusal to submit breath samples, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and speeding.
Police stopped Mr. Yuhasz for allegedly traveling 36 mph in a 25 mph speed zone and for allegedly crossing over the double yellow line.
Police arrested Koleen Vivadelli, 35, of Hightstown, at 9:03 p.m. July 21 on Franklin Street, and charged her with contempt of court.
Police said Ms. Vivadelli had an outstanding warrant from the Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.
She was later released after posting bail.
Police arrested Andrew Laboy, 21, of Howell at 1:49 a.m. July 23 on Franklin Street and charged him with contempt of court.
An investigation of a suspicious vehicle led police to check his credentials and revealed an active warrant from Bloomfield Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.
He was later turned over to the Bloomfield Police Department in default of bail.
Police arrested Fleiz Arroyo, 32, of East Windsor, at 7:41 p.m. July 23 on Towne Center Drive and charged him with contempt of court.
A motor vehicle stop and credential check revealed he had an active warrant from Ewing Township Municipal Court in the amount of $500.
He was later released upon posting bail.
Police arrested David Zavola, 25, of Freehold, at 10:21 p.m. July 23, 2013 on Franklin Street and charged him with drunken driving, drunken driving in a school zone, reckless driving and speeding.
Police stopped him for allegedly traveling 46 mph in a 25 mph speed zone.
He was later released upon posting bail.
Police responded to a residence on Spruce Court at 9:58 a.m. July 24, 2013 for a report of a burglary.
The resident reported that at approximately 4:30 a.m. an unknown subject entered into the home through a rear, unlocked door and removed a purse with no contents.
The suspect fled on foot after being frightened by a dog in the residence.
