Tues., July 30
   When prescriptions can harm is a program offered by the Community Alliance for Medication Safety in conference rooms A and B of the Community Education & Outreach at the Hamilton Area YMCA John K. Rafferty Branch, 1315 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Suite 100.
   The free presentation will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. and is offered for both parents and their children about the facts of prescription drug abuse. The program is made possible through the support of an American Medical Association Foundation grant.

   Summer storytime is offered for children ages 4 to 7 at 10 a.m. at the Hamilton Township Public Library.
   Due to space limitations, the child should be comfortable attending without his or her caregiver. However, library officials request caregivers remain in the children’s room during the program.
   Parents registering for the event must have a Hamilton Township Library card. In-person and phone registration are accepted. Another storytime session will be held Thursday, July 25, at 10 a.m.

   Summer crafts is offered for children ages 5 and up at the Hamilton Township Public Library.
   The session begins at 10:30 a.m.; all materials will be provided.

Mon., Aug. 5
   The Compassionate Friends, a bereavement support group for those that have lost children at any age, will hold its monthly meeting of the Mercer chapter at 7 p.m.
   The group typically meets the first Monday of each month at the Capital Health System of Hamilton, 1445 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton.
   The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

Recurring events
   Historic Kuser Farm Mansion is offering tours now through the end of October.
   Tours are Saturdays and Sundays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The last tour starts at 2:15 p.m.

   Summer movie showings will be featured at the Hamilton Township Public Library throughout July.
   Showings will take place July 23, 30 and 31.

   Tours will be open at the house at 2200 Kuser Road on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. The last tour starts at 4:15 p.m.

   Winter storytime sessions at the Allentown Library. Stories, songs and fun activities every Thursday at the library at 16 S. Main St., Allentown.
   No registration is required. The schedule includes “Good Morning Storytime” from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. for ages 3 and under with a parent or caregiver (siblings welcome); “Preschool Storytime” from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3 to 5; and “Family Storytime” from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m. for all ages.
