Jersey Shore’s STILLPHASE Enters Battle of Bands for Six Flags NJ and Heads Back to Studio
Long Branch, NJ (7-26-2013) – Unsigned Jersey Shore band, STILLPHASE, has entered a Battle of the Bands for a shot at taking the stage in this year’s Freight Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.  The Battle of the bands is promoted annually by DAA Entertainment and held at The Brighton Bar (Long Branch, NJ) and 10th Street Live (Kenilworth, NJ).
STILLPHASE came together in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy to form what would come to be the current lineup of Matt “Kenny Kravitz” Robertson (Guitar), AJ “The Coach” Perri (Drums), Scythen “Scy” Hade (Vox) and J. “Mr. Hotcakes” Reed (Bass).  They began showcasing in March and, although arguably a hard rock act, they’re sound lends itself heavily to 90’s era grunge bands of a modern caliber.  Live, STILLPHASE has a big sound and powerful presence with frontman Scy’s (pronounced “sigh”) electric personality connecting with the crowd.
Studio:
STILLPHASE finished up their first, self-produced, full length album earlier this year.  Plans are in the works to quickly begin recording a follow up.  It’s unsure at this point if the new release will be a full length album or EP but related news is forthcoming.
Website and Online:
STILLPHASE can be found online at their website, www.StillPhase.com, and their social media site www.facebook.com/StillPhase.
Show Dates:
The band will be taking part in the Freight Fest Battle of The Bands on August 18th at 8pm at The Brighton Bar in Long Branch, NJ.  For tickets or more information the band can be reached through their website.
