Slavic dinner: St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church monthly dinner, 4-7 p.m. in the St. Mary Parish Center, 1900 Brooks Blvd. $12 for adults (ages 9 and up) and $5 for children (8 and younger) and includes all-you-can-eat pirohi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, salad, desert and beverage. Farmers’ market: Weekly market runs on Fridays, 1-6 p.m., bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to Main Street sidewalks between Rosalie and North Orchard streets. Rain or shine.
Summer swimming: Borough pools are open. Pool badges on sale through recreation office. Memorial Pool is open seven days a week, noon7 p.m. for the big pool and noon-6 p.m. for the kiddie pool. Cooper Pool in Lost Valley is open 3-7 p.m. Monday to Friday, and noon-7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Bulk trash pickups: Next ones are Tuesdays, Aug. 6 and 20. Require purchase of sticker from borough.
Yard waste pickups: Next ones are Tuesdays, Aug. 13 and 27.
Blood pressure checks: Second Thursday of the month, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., VFW.

Hours at Borough Hall: There is a change from April 1 to Sept. 1. Offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, the borough hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Recreation office hours: Monday, noon to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m., and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Friday. Recreation information line: 908-725-9478, ext. 119.
