 Clean Water Action New Jersey will host its fourth annual Autumn Toast to a Healthy Environment charity auction and wine and chocolate tasting on Oct. 13 at the Pine Barrens Golf Club, Jackson. The event will begin at 1 p.m. and feature silent and live auctions along with wine and chocolate tastings, light fare and live jazz music in the golf club’s clubhouse and on the outdoor patio. Tickets are $125 per couple and $75 per person, with an early bird rate of $100 per couple and $50 per person by Oct. 1. Proceeds from the event will benefit Clean Water Action New Jersey and its 501c3 charitable arm, Clean Water Fund.  The Jackson Rotary Club is sponsoring a bus trip to the Tropicana Casino, Atlantic City, on Sept. 22.  Athletes in Action, in partnership with the Jackson Baptist Church, will hold a fiveday soccer camp for youngsters ages 5 to 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at Johnson Park, 206 Kierych Memorial Drive, Jackson.  A spaghetti dinner will be served from 4-7 p.m. Sept. 7 at Siloam United Methodist Church, 67 Siloam Road, Freehold Township. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and under, and includes one plate of pasta (choice of sauce), salad, dessert and beverage.  The Jackson Township First Aid Squad Cadets are sponsoring a clothing drive through Oct. 20. Gently used clothing, stuffed animals, curtains, blankets and shoes are needed. Items can be dropped off at the squad’s main station at 38 East Veterans Highway. Proceeds will go toward training materials.  The Ladies Auxiliary of New Egypt American Legion Post 455 Handbag Bingo fundraiser is planned for Aug. 24 at the post home, 2 Meadowbrook Lane, New Egypt.
