Mrs. Martins, of Howell, formerly of Staten Island, N.Y., died July 23, 2013. She was born in Germany. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Robert; a brother, Herbert; and a sister, Elizabeth. Surviving are three children, Helene, Harald and Carmen; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Anthony Pensavalle. Memorial services will be private and held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
