‘Music and Movie Night’ to benefit autism services

LONG BRANCH — The Jersey Shore Autism Foundation will sponsor its inaugural fundraising event with the showing of “Madagascar 3” at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in West End Park in Long Branch.

The free movie screening will be shown under the stars on a large movie screen.

Before the screening, attendees will be treated to a performance by acoustic guitar duo Tom and Tom at 6 p.m. The movie will then begin.

Movie-style snacks will be available for sale, along with glow sticks for the children. Various craft vendors will be on hand. There will also be chances to win gift baskets that will include gift certificates to local restaurants and more.

The evening is free and open to the public, and donations of any amount will be accepted.
