Mr. Vanderbilt, 64, of Manalapan, formerly of Staten Island, N.Y., died Aug. 10, 2013, at home. After attending Hobart College, Geneva, N.Y., he worked for Vanbro Corporation, a family construction business. He then went into business with Jiffy Lube franchises. Surviving are a daughter, Lillian Rachel Vanderbilt of Manalapan; a stepdaughter, Jessica Farley of Alexandria, Va.; a brother, Cornelius (Neil) of Westfield; two sisters, Susan Moran of Williamsburg, Va., and Penny Dinger of Westfield; and many other friends and family members. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by entombment at the Marlboro Memorial Mausoleum, Marlboro.
