Mr. Vanderbilt, 64, of Manalapan, formerly of Staten Island, N.Y., died Aug. 10, 2013, at home. After attending Hobart College, Geneva, N.Y., he worked for Vanbro Corporation, a family construction business. He then went into business with Jiffy Lube franchises. Surviving are a daughter, Lillian Rachel Vanderbilt of Manalapan; a stepdaughter, Jessica Farley of Alexandria, Va.; a brother, Cornelius (Neil) of Westfield; two sisters, Susan Moran of Williamsburg, Va., and Penny Dinger of Westfield; and many other friends and family members. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by entombment at the Marlboro Memorial Mausoleum, Marlboro. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
