FREEHOLD — Creative individuals or groups are needed for “skits” in Freehold’s Halloween Spooktacular haunted hayride set for 1-4 p.m. Oct. 19 at Lake Topanemus Park, Pond Road, Freehold Township
Skits can range from zombies roaming the park, to bridezilla, to a gory gourmet feast, to dancers performing to “Thriller.” Prizes will be awarded for best skits. To sign up or for more information, email [email protected].
Freehold Borough residents are invited to decorate scarecrows at the park from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 19. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories, and all scarecrows will be prominently displayed to all who attend the haunted hayrides. Frames should be reserved prior to Oct. 11.
In addition, a jack-o’-lantern contest will be held rain or shine Oct. 26, and the costume parade is scheduled for Oct. 27.
