Labor Day Beach Party will be hosted by the Resurrection Lutheran Church, located in Hamilton Square, and Thrivent Financial to benefit Project Freedom residents, their families and aides. Baby Rock n’ Rhyme, an event for babies between 12 and 24 months, will be held at the Hamilton Township Library. Two sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., respectively. Additional sessions will be held Sept. 16 and 23 as well as Oct. 7. Registration is required and begins Tuesday, Sept. 3 in the Betty Brand Children’s room. Telephone registration will begin Sept. 5.

Septemberfest, one Hamilton’s annual community events, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Veterans Park. The event, which will honor retired and current servicemen and women, police, fire and emergency responders, is set to feature food, music and other entertainment throughout the day.
In addition, the event will include he participation of armed forces and veterans groups, an army tank and “touch a truck” area for children to see these military and emergency response vehicles up close, as well as amusement rides for children to enjoy.

Step Lively for Falls Prevention Awareness Day from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Education & Outreach at the Hamilton Area YMCA John K. Rafferty Branch, located at 1315 Whitehorse–Mercerville Road, Suite 100.
The free, fun-filled day of screenings, demonstrations and discussions will focus on how to improve balance and reduce risk for falls. The day will feature a presentation by Linda Lucuski, MPT, Certified MDT, Rehab Director and Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist with University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Network.

Senior picnic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the senior center grounds located at 409 Cypress Lane. A rain date has been set for the following day, Sept. 26.
The 12th annual event features a photo booth, live entertainment and a new menu. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., there is no entry after 12:15 p.m.
Tickets cost $6 and can be purchased at the front desk of the senior center. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased. When purchasing a ticket you must show your Hamilton Senior ID. If purchasing a ticket for someone else, have their ID card on hand.

Woof Walk, sponsored by the Robbinsville-Hamilton Rotary Club, will feature a 1.5 mile walk for participants and their canine pets. The event, which will begin at the Robbinsville Township Center gazebo, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will also feature music, refreshments, contests and more. Cost is $10 with advance registration by Sept. 8. Cost is $15 day of the event. Historic Kuser Farm Mansion is offering tours now through the end of October.
Tours are Saturdays and Sundays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The last tour starts at 2:15 p.m.
