HAMILTON — Adults and seniors can improve their golf swing or short game, while children can learn to enjoy the sport through a new series of clinics available at the Hamilton Township Golf Center, beginning in September.
The new clinics will be led by instructor Carly Brooks, a former Mercer County Golf Champion who first turned pro in 1983.
”Our new golf clinics are another great recreational offering that residents of all ages can enjoy at our Hamilton Township Golf Center,” Mayor Kelly A. Yaede said in a township release.
Beginning on Sept. 5, adult clinics will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:45 p.m. – 7 p.m. at a cost of $35 per session.
Seniors (60 years and older) can enjoy morning clinics on Sept. 3, 5, 10 and 12, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. for a reduced price of $30 per session.
Children ages 7 to 12 can take part in Saturday clinics in Sept., 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the cost of $25 per session. These Saturday clinics can accommodate up to 10 junior golfers per session.

The Hamilton Township Golf Center, located at 5 Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Way, next to the Hamilton Public Library, offers a driving range, putting area and miniature golf. Through the month of September, residents can enjoy the center’s extended hours of Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
At the affordable price of $6 for a small bucket of golf balls or $8 for a large bucket, golfers can enjoy the center’s driving range. The miniature golf course allows children 12 years old and younger to enjoy a round for $5, while adults can play for $7 per game.
