Critelli Realtors adds two new divisions to the company

Louis Critelli of Critelli Realtors, Holmdel, announces the formation of two new company divisions as part of their continued growth. With 22 years of experience and celebrating eight years as an independent real estate firm in Monmouth County, Critelli Realtors has grown to be a firm to contend with in the Monmouth County real estate market, with expertise in the luxury home markets, waterfront properties and new construction.

“We’ve worked very hard in fulfilling a niche by providing a very distinctive custom-based platform,” said Critelli. “We offer innovative solutions by using technology to assist in the marketing and sales of homes in our marketplace, as well as the most important facet that can never be replaced by technology, hard work and attention to detail.”

Critelli Realtors has accomplished what they have set out to do in the luxury market, with an average sale price of their current listings in excess of $1.4 million and average sale price on homes they have sold of approximately $900,000.

Recognizing the services that they have already provided and seeing the opportunity for expansion within the framework of his existing company, Critelli announced the opening of two new divisions to better serve their clients: Critelli Construction Management and Critelli Renovations and Remodeling.

“Our new Construction and Management and Renovations and Remodeling divisions will add to our premium service model, which helps us provide a company which is more than just Realtors but rather the professional connections to the ‘one-stop’ shopping services they desire along with our current finance team consisting of our mortgage and title partners,” said Critelli. “Prior to the addition of these two new divisions, customers who were considering options of whether to sell their home or renovate, add an addition or remodel, were lost if they chose not to market their home with us. It was the obvious solution to the problem to deliver these services in areas that we already had expertise and the connections to contractors and subcontractors familiar with the needs and requirements of families who put quality and attention to detail as a prerequisite. On a company level it offered us a differentiation between ourselves and the franchisebased companies, while allowing an additional area for growth and profitability.”

As a result of Hurricane Sandy and the resulting damage to the area and his own home, Critelli used these services to assist his neighbors in remediating and rebuilding their homes at no cost.

“The area and families were so severely impacted I felt compelled to do something to help,” said Critelli. “Many of the owners were older families enjoying retirement and I believe the initial shock and magnitude of the process, combined with the uncertainty of the FEMA guidelines, which were everchanging to say the least, made what would have been a relatively simple task more of a problem than normal,” said Critelli. “It was great to do something and give back to the community I love.”

With the undertaking of six homes and with the partnership of expert building partners who provided quality work on the same, five of the six homes were completed in time for summer and two additional homes begun. “It was this situation that convinced me of the need to offer these services, and we are now actively looking to build and renovate more homes throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties and greatly appreciate the referral our past customers have provided us so far, with regard to the same.”

In an effort to continue the growth of the company, Critelli Realtors is seeking to interview potential new Realtors for positions as salespeople and staff.

“We have the luxury of not being under the directives most franchise companies have from the corporate offices to recruit a set number of agents over a certain period of time. It makes us unique in that we choose to conduct more of an interview process that includes meetings with our current office staff and agents to ensure more of a family environment,” said Critelli.
