The Rotary Club of Robbinsville-Hamilton Sunrise recently held its fall food drive in support of the Mercer St. Friends Food Bank’s “Send Hunger Packing” program. Club members, including from left, Dave Aust and Jeff Pierfy, gave shoppers at su´ permarkets a list of kid-friendly food items to purchase and donate. School children at risk of food insecurity are given backpacks filled with food for the weekend. In three years the club has collected over 4 tons of food.
