East Brunswick Township and the Department of Recreation, Parks and Community Services will host their second annual Trunk-or-Treat 1-3 p.m. Oct. 27 at Heavenly Farms/Dideriksen Park, Dunhams Corner Road.
Parking will begin at 12:30 p.m. All vehicles must enter from Dunhams Corner Road onto the Heavenly Farms access road — there will be no access from Cranbury Road. Guests should follow the signs and the directions of the traffic officers.
A separate parking area will be designated for those residents opening their trunks to hand out candy. Another parking area will be set up for those residents just coming to trunk-or-treat.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults, who are asked to drive slowly and carefully, should bring candy.
A Halloween Food Drive will coincide with the event. The first 1,000 children to bring a canned or boxed nonperishable food item to donate to the Community Food Pantry will receive a free Trunk-or-Treat bag from East Brunswick Recycling-Clean Communities.
