Agricola Community Eatery

For each bowl of soup our guests enjoyed during the month of October, Agricola donated $1 to Mercer Street Friends.
On November 5, 2013, Jim Nawn, proprietor, presented a check for $1,363 to Phyllis Stoolmacher, Director of
Advancement/Mercer Street Friends.
MERCER STREET FRIENDS is a human care organization that has been providing compassionate and practical solutions to the problems of poverty and health in the Greater Trenton area since 1958. Their Food Bank supplies over 2.5 million pounds of food each year to more than 60 organizations in Mercer County that feed over 25,000 people at risk for hunger. Their Send Hunger Packing Program provides 250 children with backpacks full of nutritious food to tide them over weekends and school breaks when they have no access to school breakfast and lunch programs and would otherwise go hungry.
