GLUCH NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
ANNVILLE (PA) – Delaware Valley College senior middle hitter Janel Gluch (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) was named to the all-Freedom Conference second team as the 2013 volleyball accolades were announced on Friday.
It is the third straight year that Gluch has earned second-team recognition from the conference. She led the Aggies this year in kills with 299 and a .275 hitting percentage. Earlier this season, she became the school’s all-time leader in kills and finished her standout career with 1,201. Gluch finished second on the team in ’13 with 36 blocks while her 32 service aces ranked third on the squad.
Delaware Valley, under head coach Shawn Rush, finished the 2013 season with a 13-14 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Freedom.
