RINGOES New Jersey-based singer-songwriter-pianist Jo Stones will perform a free concert Sunday, Nov. 17, at Living Waters Lutheran Church as part of its ongoing “Inside the Artist’s Studio” series.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception that includes wine, cheese and light refreshments followed by a one-hour performance from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. during which Mr. Stones will play a number of his soul/pop songs and discuss the influences and inspiration behind his music.
A New Jersey native based in Burlington, Mr. Stones graduated from Westminster Choir College with a voice performance degree in 2010, hoping to pursue a career in professional choirs.
Plans changed, and he moved around the United States to Las Vegas, California, Texas and Ohio, which has become the topic of a majority of his music.

The mission of Living Waters’ “Inside the Artist’s Studio” is to explore artistic inspiration.
