Three men were charged with two counts each of criminal mischief after a police officer on patrol noticed a small fire in the parking lot outside the Halo Farms store on Spruce Street at 4:32 a.m. Nov. 10, according to police Lt. Mark Ubry.
Lukasz Koziol, 24, of Ewing Township, and Michal Kasperski, 21, and Krzysztof Kutnik, 25, both of Levittown, Pa., were charged in the incident in which an American flag and 50 copies of the Times of Trenton newspaper were set on fire, Lt. Ubry said.
The three men also allegedly damaged a post-and-rail fence and a wooden sign for the Tiffany Woods housing development off Spruce Street, Lt. Ubry said. Damage to the Tiffany Woods sign was estimated at $575.
It is not known where the men picked up the American flag, but if anyone knows where the men found it, please call the Lawrence Township Police Department at 609-896-1111, Lt. Ubry said.
