Police charged Emily Smith, 19 of Beverly, and a 17-year-old Roebling resident for narcotics Oct. 29.
According to police, at 10:46 p.m. an officer checked on a car parked on Wallace Avenue after receiving report of two people acting suspicious.
Police said a small amount of marijuana was discovered, as was a white, powdery substance, which police suspect was heroin.
Ms. Smith was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ms. Smith was released on $5,000 bail and the juvenile was turned over to a parent.
Nov. 1 police arrested Lorne D. McCloud, 49, of Trenton, after it was discovered he had numerous warrants totaling $18,482.69 from Trenton.
Police said officers reported to the Nirdip Motel upon receiving reports of a car being taken without owner’s consent. Mr. McCloud ultimately returned with the vehicle and the warrants were discovered.
Mr. McCloud was subsequently transported to the Burlington County Jail to await transportation to Mercer County, police said.
Police arrested Terrance A. McKinney, 40, of Willingboro, after it was discovered he had an outstanding $500 warrant from Burlington Township.
The warrant was discovered during a motor vehicle stop on Route 130, according to police.
The accused was brought to police headquarters and released after posting bail.
Mansfield
Police have announced arrests from a Sept. 11 robbery in which three men robbed an attendant at the Valero gas station on Route 206.
Nakesse Q. Armstrong, 19, Zahir Camillo, 20, and Jordan Walker, 20, all of Mount Laurel, were arrested as a result of an investigation subsequent to the incident, police said.
Police said officers reported to the station just before 10 p.m., where the victim said reported he had been physically assaulted and robbed at gunpoint. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the attendant police said.
All three men were charged with robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault and theft while Mr. Armstrong was additionally charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
Police said all three men remain incarcerated in Camden County Jail on unrelated charges.
Oct. 16 police arrested Tom Tolis, 37, of Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, after it was discovered he had multiple warrants issued for his arrest in Atlantic City, Gloucester Township and Hamilton Township (Atlantic County.)
The warrants were discovered during a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Route 68.
Mr. Tolis posted bail and was released with a summons for the speeding violation.
Police are investigating a theft on Oct. 21 on Old York Road near the Bordentown Township line.
Police said the property owner reported seeing a dark-green SUV-like vehicle drive onto the property near where a set of vehicle rims was stored.
According to police, the property owner saw a black male, approximately 40 years, old load the rims into the vehicle before fleeing the area when the property owner approached him.
Police did not state an estimated value for the rims.
Oct. 21 charged Justin D. McHugh, 29, of Burlington for narcotics possession.
Police said an investigative motor vehicle stop was conducted on Old York Road near the boundary with Florence Township. It was discovered that Mr. McHugh had a hypodermic needle in his possession.
After receiving consent to search the vehicle, police discovered two additional needles, wax paper folds – some of which contained suspected heroin – and a baggie containing suspected crack-cocaine, according to police.
Mr. McHugh was charge with possession of hypodermic syringes, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
The accused was also found to have several warrants out of Camden City Municipal Court.
Mr. McHugh was transported to Burlington County Jail where he was lodged in lieu of $27,500 total bail.
Oct. 22 police charged Laura Morris, 33, of Mansfield, after receiving a report that an occupant of the Riverfront Motel on Route 130 was wanted on an active warrant issued by the Pemberton Township Municipal Court.
Upon arrival of officers, Ms. Morris identified herself and acknowledged the warrant, police said.
She was turned over to Pemberton Township Police when she was unable to post bail.
Police arrested Derek Williams, 57, of Rockdale Village, New York, Oct. 25 after it was discovered he was wanted on an active warrant issued by Springfield Township Municipal Court.
According to police, the warrant was discovered after a motor vehicle stop due to speeding on Route 206.
He posted bail for the warrant and issued a motor vehicle summons.
Oct. 29 charged Devin L. Terry, 19, of Columbus, for obstructing administration of law.
According to police, Mr. Terry ignored officer’s verbal commands when approached by police attempting to serve a court order at a home on Birmingham Drive.
In addition, police said Mr. Terry attempted to leave the residence and acted in an aggressive manner toward police while shouting profanities.
The accused was released pending an appearance in the Mansfield Township Municipal Court.
Police charged Joshua T. Filor, 20, of Wrightstown, for drug paraphernalia possession Oct. 31.
According to police, a vehicle driven by Mr. Filor was the subject of a motor vehicle stop on Mount Pleasant Road in the area of Gaunts Bridge Road.
A subsequent consent search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia. Police said other contraband was found on his person.
He was charged with paraphernalia possession and other motor vehicle offenses.
The accused was released pending an appearance in the Mansfield Township Municipal Court.
Oct. 31 police arrested Matthew Ortiz, 21, of Columbus, after it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant issued by the Mansfield Municipal Court.
The warrant was discovered after police encountered Mr. Ortiz walking on the shoulder of Route 206.
The accused was released after bail was posted on his behalf.
Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident on Augusta Drive Oct. 31.
According to police, a resident reported their windshield was damaged with a rock by unknown suspect(s). The victim reported the damage to have occurred between 6:35 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
