A Louis Street man from Ghana reported losing his passport at 5:50 p.m. Oct. 28. He last saw it about four weeks ago, he said.
A woman said at 8:08 p.m. Oct. 28 that her vehicle was scratched on the driver’s side doors while parked at her residence on Washington Avenue. Estimated damage was $500.
Marco Gomez-Pinela, 33, of Hillsborough was charged with driving wile intoxicated at 9:03 p.m. Oct. 28 at a Brooks Boulevard apartment, whose resident said Mr. Gomez kicked his dog and pushed him. Patrols called the rescue squad and medics to take the man to Somerset Medical Center, and a search warrant was obtained to draw blood.
At 9:48 a.m. Oct. 29 a South 14th Avenue caller said a portable generator has been operating for about two weeks. Patrols turned the scene over to Fire Marshall Pat Renaldi.
County communications reported a fire in the dishwasher at a South 19th Avenue address at1:21 p.m. Oct. 29. The scene was turned over to the fire department.
A North 6th Avenue man reported at 4:14 p.m. Oct. 29 that someone removed his Apple iPod 16G, valued at $350, from his residence between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m. that day.
Someone stole her Halloween decorations sometime overnight, a Haran Avenue woman said at 5 p.m. Oct. 29. The value was put at $90.
A North Orchard Street man reported at 6:09 p.m. Oct. 29 that someone took his newspapers that he had put out for recycling less than an hour earlier. He wanted it on the record.
A caller at 3:55 p.m. Oct. 30 said an animal had eaten through a power line on South 17th Avenue.
An alarm service reported a panic alarm at Grub Hut on North Main Street at 5:49 p.m. Oct. 30. Patrols found it accidentally tripped.
A North 9th Avenue caller said his neighbor’s house had been hit with eggs at 8:17 p.m. and asked for extra patrols in the area. Police said the culprits were gone when patrols arrived. No damage was seen.
A caller reported at 10:13 p.m. that someone had placed a leather chair in front of his residence on North 8th Avenue. Patrols confirmed the complaint, which was asked to be put on the record.
A caller at 4:18 p.m. said her 2009 black Nissan Altima had been stolen from Adesa Auto Auctions parking lot between Oct. 28 and that day, Oct. 31. It was entered in the national crime registry.
A caller at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 31 reported several gun shots fired in the area of Klein’s Recycling on West Camplain Road, Hillsborough. Patrols responded and reported a tow truck was dropping off a vehicle at the nearby CoParts.
A caller at 8:08 p.m. Oct. 31 said a young blonde woman wearing a black dress was crying as she ran south on North Main Street. Patrols were unable to find anyone.
Ian Mobus, 18, of Warren was charged with shoplifting after being chased in the Walmart parking lot at 9:18 p.m. Nov. 1. He was also charged with possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia. He was released. The value of the allegedly taken items was $32.07
Fire, rescue and medics were dispatched to a head-on collision on Schmidt Street near Pizza and Pasta at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 2.
Walmart loss prevention reported a shoplifter in custody at 3:25 p.m. Sunday. Nov. 3. Brynn Molloy, 31, of Hillsborough was charged with shoplifting items valued at $41.72 and released on a borough summons.
Art work hanging in the hallway apparently activated a burglar alarm from a computer room at Weston School at 8 p.m. Nov. 3 Sunday.
