He makes marked $10 bill appear in lemon in a bag
Magician Conrad Colón of Hillsborough was the winner of Raritan Valley Community College’s second annual “RVCC Got Talent” competition, held Nov. 8 at the college’s Branchburg campus. The competition was hosted by the college’s Orgullo Latino Club.
Mr. Colón earned a perfect 10 for his magic act, which included taking a marked-up $10 bill from an audience member and making it reappear inside a lemon. The lemon was in a bag secured with a binder clip and was held by another student. He won $100.
Second place was awarded to contemporary dancer Victoria DeStefano of Flemington, who performed to the music of the Newsboys. Michael Griffin of Bridgewater, a female impersonator, was the third-place winner. Mr. Griffin portrayed Michelle Ramirez, who danced and lip-synced to Beyoncé’s “All the Single Ladies.”
RVCC’s main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg. Serving Somerset and Hunterdon County residents for more than 40 years, the college offers more than 90 associate degrees and certificates. RVCC @ Bridgewater, located at 14 Vogt Drive, offers technical, trade, credit and non-credit courses.
