March of Dimes Honors New Jersey Senator Jennifer Beck

By March of Dimes
On Friday December 13, 2013, the March of Dimes will honor New Jersey State Senator Jennifer Beck at its Celebration of New Beginnings breakfast by presenting her with the “FDR Visionary Award” for outstanding leadership and support of the mission of the March of Dimes – to prevent premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. The event will be held at the Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey beginning at 8:00 am.
The Celebration of New Beginnings event was founded by March of Dimes and Pfizer 13 years ago to increase public awareness of the progress, promise of cutting-edge research, and public health programs in the areas of maternal and infant health in New Jersey.
The Honorable Jennifer Beck (R-11), Senator, New Jersey State Legislature, is President of JAB Marketing, a media relations and marketing firm. She is also a trustee with the Monmouth Conservation Foundation, a member of the Red Bank Womans Club and formerly was a rape crisis counselor at what is now 180/Turning Lives Around.
“As we celebrate the March of Dimes’ 75th anniversary this year, we are honored to be able to present Jennifer Beck with the FDR Visionary Award for her commitment to our mission to work together for strong, healthier babies,” said Addy Bonet, State Director, March of Dimes, New Jersey Chapter.
