IXP Corporation, a prominent national public safety and emergency response provider, announced it has moved its headquarters to new offices in Princeton Forrestal Village. The move reflects the firm’s growth and underscores its technology expertise.
IXP now occupies more than 5,500 square feet at 103 Main Street in Princeton off US Route 1 South. The firm previously was based in Cranbury.
“This exciting move brings us closer to clients as well as ideal accommodations for our growing team,” says William E. Metro, IXP’s chairman and chief executive officer. “The location allows us to be better integrated into the Princeton University area and its high-tech corridor—an ideal environment for attracting top talent as well as serving our clients.”
During the past 4 years, IXP has added nearly 100 new positions and by the end of 2013 will have more than 140 employees. Revenues also have increased 50 percent since January 2012.
According to Lawrence D. Consalvos, president and chief operating officer, IXP Corporation, “The new headquarters reflects an era of expansion for IXP—as we continue to change the paradigm of how government services are provided. Our model enables us to deliver complex public safety projects faster and more cost-effectively, while achieving the highest level of performance.”
In addition to law enforcement and municipalities, IXP supports utility companies, colleges and universities, hospitals, and corporations. One of IXP’s recent successful client engagements was the privatization of the 911 Emergency Call Center in the Township of Lawrence, New Jersey.
Located minutes from downtown Princeton along the Northeast transportation corridors, the new headquarters also enables IXP to efficiently train 911 telecommunicators onsite.
The tenant representatives in the IXP move were Carolyn Sica and Adam Englander of CBRE.
In addition to its Princeton headquarters, IXP manages a 16,000 square foot facility in Sandy Springs, Ga., on behalf of the municipalities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek.
