BORDENTOWN CITY: Finalists named in city cat photo competition

The deadline to vote is Dec. 31, and the public can vote in person at the following downtown Bordentown holiday events.

BORDENTOWN CITY — Bordentown City Cats has officially unveiled the finalists in its 10th anniversary cat photo contest to help support the nonprofit organization’s continued rescue mission.
   BCC launched the contest last month and received over 90 submissions to date. A complete listing and voting instructions can be found on the group’s website at www.bordentowncitycats.blogspot.com.
   To support the group’s continued rescue efforts, each vote will cost $1 and everyone can vote as often and as much as they’d like.
   The deadline to vote is Dec. 31, and the public can vote in person at the following downtown Bordentown holiday events:
   * Nov. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the annual tree lighting ceremony, outside The Vault Pizzeria, 300 Farnsworth Ave.
   * Dec. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chocolate Walk, outside the Artful Deposit, 201 Farnsworth Ave.
   * Dec. 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Holiday House Tours/Carriage Rides, outside the Friends Meeting House, 302 Farnsworth Ave.
   * Dec. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Shoppe 202 Wine and Cheese Party, 202 Farnsworth Ave.
   Voters can also make their picks by mail by sending a check made payable to “Bordentown City Cats” to P.O. Box 421, Bordentown, NJ 08505 by Dec. 31.
   Mail-in voters should include their name, phone number and email address in addition to indiciatingthe name and number of the cat they wish to vote for.
   Each dollar submitted will count as one vote. If you are submitting one check, but wish to vote for multiple cats, please indicate how many votes you would like allocated to each specific cat.
   ”Everywhere you look on the Internet these days cats photos and memes are all the rage,” said Jennifer Sciortino, BCC member. “We’ve been trying to find a fun way to mark our 10th anniversary, one that would get the community involved. Voting in person is a great way to take in some of the wonderful holiday events offered in Bordentown City while helping to support a good cause.”
