The recycling and shredding event, the last one to be held by the county in 2013, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Robert Shinn Recycling Center, 130 Hancock Lane in Westampton.
County residents looking to recycle certain electronics or shred sensitive paperwork will have the opportunity to do so Saturday, Dec. 7.
The recycling and shredding event, the last one to be held by the county in 2013, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Robert Shinn Recycling Center, 130 Hancock Lane in Westampton.
County residents are invited to bring computers, TVs, laptops, computer keyboards, mice/cables, printers, desktop copiers, scanners, fax machines, VCRs, cell phones, game consoles and interchangeable batteries.
New items that can only be accepted at the Dec. 7 event include microwaves, stereos, vacuum cleaners, irons, toasters, blenders and more.
Residents may also bring confidential paperwork including bank and credit card statements, tax returns or other paper with other sensitive information.
There is a limit of up to four bags and boxes per household. Residents are asked not to bring already shredded paper.
Circulars, junk mail, magazines and newspapers as well as binders, plastic folders, computer disks and plastic credit cards are similarly prohibited.
The event is for county residents only. Identification and proof of residency should be brought to the event.
