Florence
Police charged Demon Ayers, 37, of Trenton, after police discovered a “hit” on the National Crime Information Center database with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
Mr. Ayers was a passenger in a car that was the subject of a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 on Nov. 21.
The driver, Melvin Joynes, was found to have been driving with a suspended license, police said.
Mr. Joynes was issued citations for motor vehicle offenses while Mr. Ayers was taken to Burlington County Jail to be picked up by Mercer County authorities.
Nov. 22 police charged Stacey L. Jackson, 34, of Florence, for driving with a suspended license.
Police also discovered, during a motor vehicle stop on West Front Street, that Ms. Jackson had an outstanding $500 warrant out of Florence Municipal Court.
The accused was transported to Burlington County Jail after she was unable to post bail, police said.
Police charged Lamont Byrd, 19, from Burlington, after it was discovered he had five warrants totaling $1,608 from various agencies.
According to police, it was also discovered during a motor vehicle stop on Route 130, that Byron Littlejohn, 26, of Willingboro, who was a passenger in the vehicle, also had a warrant for $283 out of Burlington City.
Mr. Littlejohn posted bail while Mr. Byrd was transported to Burlington County Jail in lieu of bail.
Mansfield
Police charged Leander Mauldin, 52, of Mansfield, who had outstanding warrants out of Willingboro Township and North Hanover Township municipal courts.
According to police, officers discovered the outstanding warrants during a dispute at the Riverfront Motel on Route 130 in the early morning hours of Nov. 6.
Mr. Mauldin was subsequently turned over to North Hanover Police.
Nov. 9 police charged Amilkar Salas, 36, of Trenton, who had outstanding warrants out of Trenton and Bordentown City municipal courts.
According to police, the warrants were discovered during a motor vehicle stop on Route 130. The accused was a passenger in the vehicle, and was not wearing a seatbelt.
The accused was subsequently released without bail.
Police charged Jeffrey S. Lovell, 28, of Newark, Delaware, for driving while intoxicated on Nov. 9.
According to police, a car driven by Mr. Lovell was seen failing to maintain a lane on Route 130 at approximately 11:28 p.m.
He was also charged with reckless driving, speed and failing to maintain a lane.
He was released without bail.
Nov. 10 police charged Tyler Grouser, 25, of Marlton, who had outstanding warrants issued by the municipal courts of Mansfield, Springfield and Lumberton townships.
An officer, who was aware of the active warrants, saw Mr. Grouser walking on West Main Street and made the arrest after confirming the warrants.
Mr. Grouser was subsequently transported to Burlington County Jail in lieu of bail.
Police charged John F. Moore Jr., 36, of Browns Mills, for speeding on Route 68 on Nov. 11 at 6 a.m.
According to police, it was discovered during the ensuing motor vehicle stop that Mr. Moore’s license was suspended and that he was wanted on a criminal warrant from the Camden City Municipal Court.
The accused was issued summonses for speeding and driving while suspended prior to being released without bail regarding the warrant.
Nov. 19 police investigated several vehicle burglaries in the Mansfield Hunt and Lynnwood Farms sections of the township.
According to police, the ensuing the investigation revealed that a majority of cars entered were unlocked and burglaries occurred overnight in the early morning hours.
Unknown person(s) gained entry into locked vehicles by breaking out windows with a blunt object, police said.
